My love for the band U2 is unconditional.  I know that it sounds corny and stupid but it is true.  I started listening to U2 when I was 15 years old during that summer.  My father and I use to listen to it when we would travel every weekend to go see my brother play baseball.  U2 is my father and mines band and that's how I will always remember it.

U2 consists of 4 members including Paul "Bono" Hewson (lead singer), David "The Edge" Evans (guitar), Larry Mullen Jr. (drums), and Adam Clayton (bass guitar).  U2 started when Larry Mullen Jr. Posted a flyer in the hallways of his high school somewhere in Dublin, Ireland.  Then gradually one by one Bono, The Edge, and Adam Clayton all showed up to join Larry's band that he wanted to start.  So, since 1976 history continues to be made as Bono and the Irish boys continue to sell out 80,000 seat stadiums with record crowds and record tours.  There music is legendary with huge hits like; Where the Steets Have No Name, With or Without You, I Still Havent Found What I'm Looking For, and I Will Follow.  U2 on VH1's top 100 bands of all time was ranked 19th.  I think it could be higher then that but non the less top 20 is pretty damn good.  One of the highlights of my life was when I saw them live at Gillette Stadium with my father.
